It can get hot, not just plain hot, but humid hot. If i'm outside say working on a construction site, in the yard, or at the lake i try to keep plenty of fluids in my body but not drink too much, the key here is to gargle some water, spit most of it out and drink a sip.
This will cool you off the most and not get you sick from drinking way too much.. Oh yeah and keep moving, it just gets hotter when you stand still.

Today it was over 102. I just go outinto the back yard, put on my suit and take a dip in our pool. We do not run any air conditioning in our home since we have a pool to cool off in. I live in Southern California about 40 miles from Palm Springs. In fact it was so hot today that they said on the news that two fat men were arrested for making their own gravy.

I'm burning up!
I take about 4 baths during the day. I stay in the house unless it's dark or I'm forced to go outside. I made some curtains out of dark cloth. The whole house is dark. It helps to keep the house cool.

Yes it can get hot here in Hawai'i. We either go to the beach or to the mountain streams to cool off. Then there is always Pali lookout as it is always windy there.

I take a cool shower, dust up with some talcum powder and one of my favorite summer scents, then I put on light colored, loose fitting summer clothing and head for the air conditioning (in the house, car or wherever i'm going).
