You can't make him listen to you any more then he could make you listen to him. He will only do what he wants to do and will only change if that is what he wants to do. You can not make anyone change for you, they have to want to change. Remember, You can lead a horse to water, but you can not force them to drink.

1) speak in his language. What does that mean? Take all emotion out of your vocab. Speak on 'timely' fact. Not what happened 6 months ago.
2) be direct and non threatening. Otherwise men will just say what will get them off the hook or give you the answer that you want to hear. If they understand that there will be no or mild consequences for real truth they will listen and respond to your questions.
3) every man is tuned into the same radio station wiifm (What's In It For Me) if you want his attention its thru food or below the belt if you know what I mean

You can't make anyone listen to you. You can only talk to them and explain what you are trying to get across and hope they are really listening. If you are having trouble with your husband - sit him down when he's not tired or exhausted and tell him you have to talk to him and really need him to listen.

Stop talking to him for awhile. Not because you're mad or you want to punish him, but because he's tuned you out and it may take some time for him to realize you've stopped talking. Then when you have his attention you should ask him to talk to you. If he finds you're willing to listen to him then he may be open to finally hear what you have to say. If you keep doing the same thing and get the same result you have to try something different.

You shouldn't have make someone listen to you. You should find a time when he's not distracted by TV, work, or hobbies (like the dinner table?), and tell him you really need to talk to him, that it's important to you, and ask him to please listen. Don't whine or nag, just talk. If he's a good man, he will listen.

Make him stop doing what may be distracting him first. I've found that many times, I've been busy and answered to things/acted like I was listening, but my mind was already focused.

Ah, when you have the answer to that one, copyright and publish.you will be a millionaire overnight. Of course, most men listen very well when they are horny...they just forget what they heard when they get de-horned. Good luck

Start by talking to him about something on his level...and act understanding. Otherwise forget it! :) If he's anything like my b/f then when he's upset about a topic he just protects his side and thats the only way...until I walk away and let him think about it by himself. Then its easier to make him listen.

Have more sex with him!
When you want him to listen mention Sex, or Food or Both!
Hold a 6 pack of his favorite beer in your hand and say what you have to say before giving it to him.
