Love is a deluded state of mind. You grow up looking forward to the Utopian dream of falling in love with that perfect someone and living happily ever after, but we know that rarely happens first time around, but it's good to get the experience...it is so educational. Love is that magic word everyone looks froward to hearing from someone's lips, even if we know it's really not true; it just sounds so good. "I love you"...yeah ok..."uh I love you too"... he said. and the earth moved as they shared a passionate kiss...and so forth and so on. Love is whatever you want it to be in your mind's eye.

Well, I think your heart and brain are the same thing, m'dear.. If you mean is it more physical than mental.. I think mental should come first, to stimulate the physical (tho.. lol, seems to work in the reverse at times.) I think compatability is important (tho we all go off the deep end and 'can't live without the other person' too. Why do you ask this? You might be having problems w/ it? (We all do.. I do.) I think my husband does love me but I don't think I reciprocate. He bores me (sorry, he does) exceedingly and he always did and the only reason I married him was because I thought he could be a father (he wasn't) to my children from a previous marriage. (So guess I've got to suffer/stick it out..)

Its 90% brain... 10% heart. when its really love. You can get over that person and never think about them again but when its really love like when a sibling dies it hurts deep to the core of your heart. Thats Love. So if you love someone like u love a family member watch out... ur in trouble. never a good idea to fall in love like that ever.

Love is the greatest power in the world. My definition of God is love. There is much more love in the universe than not, and you are loved. On your darkest day in your darkest hour, you are loved. Love does not hurt or punish. All lessons experienced by humans have the same desired outcome and that is ' Can you forgive and love unconditionally?' The murderer, the rapist, the terrorist, can you forgive them enough to move into love for them? Not for them but for you. Consequences cure bad behaviour but love is the only thing that heals. So we must learn these lessons of forgiveness and love so we can move on from the earthly existence, which often resembles hell.

I believe that there's a combo of both. I used to believe in that magical "one" but now I feel that there are a lot of people that would be a good match for you, and some are logically better than others. But you do have to have some heart chemistry.

Love is an instinct, its mother natures way of tricking us into reproduceing offspring. Also the initial euphoric feelings only last a certain number of months then reality sets in and you figure out if you really enjoy this persons company.

I believe its your brain, your heart doesnt really control your feelings, if it something in your brain that tells your heart something feels right about this.

There are all types of love- true love, puppy love, infatuation, crushes, gangsta love, rekinkled love, lost love, pure love, real love, dumb love, sweet love, everlasting love, new love, and old love. All of these include your mind, body, and soul or one or the other: the mind, the body, OR the soul.
