...the right are supposedly the great Christians, the ones who support the family unit, traditional values, blah, blah, blah...

Yet one of their biggest talking heads is going on national television, spewing hateful judgment towards the widows of a terrorist attack.

Whatever happened to understanding and sympathy towards others? Or is that reserved for fetuses? Parents and fatherless children be damned?

I am well aware that not ALL the right wingers are backing this loathsome woman. But shouldn't there be more outcry from the party, denouncing those spiteful views?

Understanding, sympathy, empathy, compassion? These qualities do not exist or at the most are minimal with regard to the right-wing. Their philosophy is " I've got mine so fock you", similar to the survival of the fittest mentality, what they don't understand is that we are human beings as opposed to wild animals. Hypocrisy is second nature in the criminal republican party.

The party sells itself as the voice of christians. Considering they make up a good amount of people it's a good place to get votes.

It certainly is hypocrisy by a group which thinks it so called love of values makes them more enlightened than the rest of us. I'm pretty sure supporters of the right don't know what they stand for. So they support the first the schmo that comes along saying they hate abortion and gay marriage

The right wing and the left wing are just two wings of the same bird of prey.

Hypocrisy is seeing the faults in others while not seeing any fault in yourself. No doubt there is plenty of that in circulation, particularly in political debate as you have observed.

But, hypocrisy observed is worthless unless it provokes self-examination (Mt 7:1-5) Otherwise, you are simply allowing the wrong action of a few you despise to define your own attitudes and destiny.

If the opposite of hypocrisy is humility, then that is the virtue to be pursued.

What you apparently don't know about this specific group of women "the Jersey girls" formerly known as the "9/11 Advocates" is that they do NOT speak for the majority of those poor souls who lost loved ones that day. They speak of pure political gain and profit from the deaths. They're not your typical "widows" of that terrible day. They are terrible people and deserved to be called out on their behavior.

it's classic "pity only those you can profit from"... if they are starving and don't agree with you, let them die...

They are Christian only as long as it's convenient... start talking about the sin of greed and they will call you a "Godless communist," even if you're quoting the words of Jesus right out of the Bible...

I mean how much progress has the Republican majority made on abortion or on immigration in SIX YEARS WITH NO FILIBUSTERS!!!!

The only people who still support the administration are those who aren't paying attention...

no, there should not be. I dont realy care for Ann Coulter shes kinda stupid sometimes, but it realy makes me sick when people protest the war even when they have had relatives DIE. My Uncle is near Basra right now and if he dies then im not gonna go and spit on his grave by saying "ya we should pull out, sorry but you died for nothing" and you want hateful!?! Howard Dean shortly after droping out of the 2004 election race because of public spite at his recent angry rants on stage told a Rueters news reporter quote: "I hate the Republican Party and everything it stands for!" the Chairman of the Democratic Party Hates the Party that stands for the Republic, and everything it stands for.

The women of 911 have been widows for 5 yrs. now. It's
time they resumed their lives.
I think Ann Coulter thinks it's her job to complain & find fault with
others, as she can do no wrong. I've never heard, even one,
constructive idea from her.

Didn't hear what she said, but was she saying the government paid the 9/11 people too much? I agree if it was something else I have no opinion till I look it up.

Many would say th Jersey Girls don't deserve respect that they may have once deserved. They are seeking fame through death. Cindy Sheehan does that same. I think thats pretty despicable.
