sounds like an overheating problem.....when you changed the processor did you use the old heatsink/fan? is the fan working properly? try changing the heatsink/fan and use a good heat transfer paste like artic silver 5

With problems like this is it best to figure out was is not creating the problems vs what is, so go backwards...

1. Does the CPU, Memory work on other PC's?
2. Is the motherboard jumped for the right speed?
3. Is the CPU & RAM running at comapable speeds? (A board jumped for 333hz will not boot if the RAM is 266hz for example).

Things you can eliminate are hard drives & things (a computer will boot with no hard drive). It is either the motheroard, memory or cpu & they are either the wrong speeds or not working & need to be replaced. Of course make sure the video card is hooked up to check things. Don't think just cuz it is new it works. I ordered a new AMD CPU & it was delivered not working.

if it turns on for a bit, then it means that some power got through, but apparently, it's not enough. if your monitor is connected to the pc power supply, disconnect that first and see if the pc will boot (you'll notice that the hard disk LED indicator is blinking). however, we won' know if the hard disk itself is booting normally. if your monitor is not connected to your PC power supply then you might want to try changing the power cord (if that wasn't included when you changed the power supply). lastly, you might want to plug your computer elsewhere, maybe it's an electrical wiring issue. hope this helps.

there are 2 problems possiable

1:- during replace of powersuppy, some scrows are gone inside you system which short the mainboard, open the casing of your cpu and check for any, deassamble your casing and reassamble it again.

2:- you had place a wrong/damaged power supply inside your computer. get a new tested power supply

This seems to be some serious ****!! but don't worry, Get your 1.Earthing(Ground) Checked
2.disconnect all cables (disassemble) and reassemble it.
3.check your ram/rams in some other PC.
4. get your SMPS checked.
5.last but not the least let me know if this does not resolve your problem..

Sounds like you replaced everything except the hard drive, try re-installing the Operating System. Does your BIOS load up when you start your computer, it might be your BIOS.

sounds like it's time to invest in a new computer! You have spent to much time and money on that piece of junk!
I have just purchased a new one from DELL, it is a great computer and the price was only 299 dollars

First, you may have a virus in the Harddrive....try swapping it out..
Next....try reformating the harddrive.....A:/fdisk / cleans the whole drive out...next A:/formatC:/ / hit # 1 & 3 / the 1 & 1 to format the drive and make it primary
