True love --or the decision to unconditionally love someone --- is a process of being totally selfless and not selfish. The "fear" you mentioned in your post is merely your selfish immature self having a difficult time letting go and submitting your heart and soul to the care of another individual---a bit like "falling."
The one most important aspect of unconditional love: The more you give-----the more you stop worrying about whether or not you're receiving anything.

Yes, true love is worth everything. Love is very scary because we all fear having our hearts broken but at the same time its very exciting and in the end, worth everything!

yes...in my opinion, true love is something that only the people who "fear" being hurt but are willing to risk it get to experience it...just like achieving success, you have to work very hard for it...it's the same with love...if you don't open yourself to all the possibilities that God has given you and you don't open your heart to people who may end up to be your true love then nothing will happen to you...
and true love is worth the fear because when you finally find it, it's like you know you really deserve it...just like a successful career...knowing that you worked really hard and that you did all by yourself with no inside help or something makes the success of finally getting up there sweeter...

Yes...it is worth everything...true love is a transformation. She is also a door to experience a deeper spectrum of feeling. She will take you to places you've never imagined, let you see things about yourself you never knew existed. The other person is the catalyst, but true Love is the teacher. Treat her tenderly and she will reward you deeply.

Fear is a tiny thing compared to the power of true love. Love can cure all wounds.

Yes it is worth it......in life there will always be a possibility that things won't go our way and we still try all these things so why not try love. The fear will subside once you completely trust the one you love.

True love is not to be feared because true love never hurts. It's the false love that hurts.

My only answer to this question is: How can you fear what is true? Anything honest or true should never be feared or dreaded. The real question that is being posed is: Can I trust myself to truly love?

True love is worth it because you learn something from that person and can carry it with you forever. If it does not work, you never forget, you do move on in that situation, and it enriches your life, makes you wiser, and allows you to be whole.
