Stephan or Stephen is Alpine French and Eastern German for Steven.

Etienne is Central French for Steven.

Where I live, in a mostly French-speaking community (well, province), the name is still Steve. I knew a Québécois named Steve. Hell, there are tons here.

Steve in French is Steve.It is not technically correct to translate names. My name is John, not Jean because I live in Quebec, or Keoni because I'm visiting Hawaii.
