Have you tried OB?
They're these tiny little bullet sized tampons like just over an inch long. No applicator. You slid it in with your finger.
You might want to use some Ky on the tip to help with insertion.

What size tampon are you using?
Sometimes if there isn't enough blood down there it hurts putting it in and taking it out....use the OB tampons, they don't have an applicator but they're small and they don't hurt as much as other tampons. If not, try the kind with the "pearl" applicator, that's supposed to go in easier.

Are you using a super one? Maybe try reg. or jr.
Tampons just hurt some people because of the way they are shaped (the body not the tampon). It's not pain free for me either. I would try a smaller kind first and see how that works.

I take it you're still a virgin, right? so your hymen (the tiny membrane that covers the vaginal entrance) is still whole. In your first sexual act the hymen tears, that's why sex hurts the first time. The same thing is happening with the tampon, your hymen hole is too little. Don't worry, if after a few times you've used a tampon it still hurts bad, you may have to visit a gynecologyst. It may be scary, but it's gonna happen sooner of later.

Wow, I almost fainted the first time I tried to use a tampon. I stay away from those things. Pads are not as bad as everyone try to make them out to be.

It could be the angle-- this does take some practice. You may need to get out a mirror and take a look, or place one foot up on a stool or toilet to get better access.
You should try a "slender" tampon
You could use some KY jelly to lube the outisde of the applicator, that could make insertion easier.

ouch! i would try using a smaller size or maybe OB tampons because they make em without the applicator so it is easier to use and probably wont hurt as bad. Or you should go see your Ob-Gyn if that doesnt work. have a great day!

Try different positions when inserting it. The vagina goes up and back so if you are sitting make sure to 'spread 'em wide' and insert it towards your back then insert it. Also, try standing up....prop one leg on the toilet and use the same technique (doing it this way helps you to not want to push it straight up because your body is more hunched over) If you try everything and are still having problems, check with your doctor to make sure you don't have any vaginal cists or anything. Good Luck

dont put them straight in. your vagina point towards your lower back so make sure you are not shoving it straight up. also you could have like a wart up there so if that other method doesnt work try and see if you can find any white spots up there. if you cant and it still hurts go see a gynocologist. oh by the way will you answer some of my questions because im not getting the right answers. just click on my icon and it wil show you my questions thanks. hope i helped.
