1) The Cold War-The Cold War was tensions between the United States and Soviet Union from around the late 40's to the late 80's.
2) Hitler- An Austrian-born coward who founded the German Nazi Party and eventually became the chancellor of the Third Reich (Actually was more of a dictator). He invaded Poland in 1939 which started Wolrd War II. Like the coward he was, he commited suicide when his government colapsed but not before he exstingwished the lives of millions of innocent people.
3) Nuclear reactors-create electricity using fission which causes "control rods" to super heat up which in turn heats up the water around it causing steam. The steam drives a steam turbine which turns a generator which produces electricity.....Or something really close to that!! lol
4) Lincoln-famous for the Gettysburg address and the Emancipation Proclumation.
5) No....I really hope not!
6) 5 is a prime #...lol... cant remember exactly why it is a prime #....know 1 is not a prime #....I do know the # has to have a positive integer that has exactly two positive integer factors..or again....something like that...lol
7) Thats tough...depends on who you ask...I would say heart disease...could be wrong on that one though.
8) Born with 275 bones but as we get older they start to fuse together and as an adult there are around 207 bones...

1. The Cold War, which is called "cold" because it was different from a traditional "hot" war in that there were no actual military engagements between the two opposing factions, was the time period (1950s and 1960s) of extreme political tension between the US and the USSR during which the two rival nations teetered on the brink of actual war (possibly nuclear) on several occasions.
2. Adolf (Adolph) Hitler, an Austrian who served in WWI then rose to power in post-war Germany as leader of the Nazi Party and was elected Chancellor of Germany in the 1930s, instigated WWII by breaking the terms of the Versailles Treaty by invading Czechoslovakia, Austria and Poland (among other things) and engineered the attempted genocide of the Jewish race, aka the Holocaust, in a sick effort to create a "pure Aryan" race for his hoped-for European empire.
3. A nuclear reactor splits atoms and in doing so, releases energy; the released energy is used to generate electricity.
4. Abraham Lincoln is famous because he: was president during the most divisive time period in US history, the Civil War; held the nation together; ended slavery in the US; was a self-made, self-educated man from a poor background (the ideal American); and died violently and tragically at an assassin's hand just days after the war's conclusion.
5. Sure--she couldn't possibly be worse then the current president.
6. A prime number is a number that is divisible only by 1 and itself.
7. I am not sure, but I think the leading cause of death in the US is some form of cancer.
8. I am not sure, but I think there are just over 200 bones in the human body--maybe 206.

What was the Cold War?
The Cold War was the world "chess game" that went on between the United States and the Soviet Union as they each sought to gain domination over the other country without having a declared war.
Who was Hitler?
Adolph Hitler was an Austrian wallpaper hanger who immigrated to Germany and rose to become one of the most ruthless tyrants this world has ever seen. It is rumoured that he used cocaine and is supposed to have gotten that habit when a doctor prescribed in for a sinus condition. He is supposed to have died in a bomb shelter from a suicidal grenade blast along with his girlfreind whose name was something like "Eva Braun" I think.
How does a nuclear reactor generate electricity?
Core rods of Uranium are placed in a reactor chamber where they undergo controlled fission that causes heat to be generated. The heat is applied to water that turns into steam which turns an electric generator system.
Why is Abraham Lincoln famous?
He was the President who signed the emancipation proclamation that outlawed slavery in the United States.
Do you think Hillary Clinton can be President?
She has the same legal right to become President as anyone else who is over 35 and born in the United States and has not been convicted of a felony.
What is a prime number?
A prime number is a number that is only divisible by itself and one.
What is a leading cause of death in America?
Uh, maybe heart disease.
How many bones are in the human body?
Don't know for sure. 300 and something I think, or maybe it's 600 and something.

The answer to number 3, I don't have the faintest idea- that was way before my time. But as for the others, it's genocide in Darfur; Roberts, Alito, Scalia, Thomas, Kennedy, Stevens, Breyer, Ginsberg, and Souter on the Court; McKinley, Roosevelt, Taft, Wilson, Harding, Coolidge, Hoover, Roosevelt, Truman, Eisenhower, Kennedy, Johnson, Nixon, Ford, Carter, Reagan, Bush, Clinton- 20th century presidents; stem cells are perpetually embryonic cells found in all organisms that repair and replenish tissues; Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto are the planets; the earth orbits the sun in exactly 1 year.
