Most people think that our soul mates have to be the one we marry....not true! We can have male or female soul mates and they are hard to come by. The soul mate we are connected to is the one person that is most like us. They read our minds, finish our sentences and share a connection even deeper than our spouses. You could go for years without seeing or even speaking to them and then one day out of the blue....you meet once more and it was like you spoke just yesterday. There is no time lost, all things are understood, forgiven and loved on the deepest levels.

The person becomes a part of you and your life is touched by that person in the deepest part of who you are. This person sees you as you are and there's nothing to hide and you just feel them in your heart all the time.

You can be your real self and not feel ashamed. You can sit on the porch swinging in silence but feel like you are 'communicating' paragraphs of information. You rarely have to explain yourself deeply- you are both in tune.

Like the elusive X Factor, nobody knows what it is until they find it... and when You find it... you will know!! This is an unanswerable question until you meet that 'One' person, and then you will be able to answer the question for yourself.

It feels different than anything you've ever felt with anyone else. It's someone you feel you can talk to about anything, like you've known them all your life. You just know that this is someone you can trust. You don't just know it, you feel it.

i havn't met mine so i dont know how to identify him but...
im guessing he/she would be someone you consider to be your best friend in the entire world, asides from being a lover.

they make you feel like a totally different person, and no matter how long you are apart, it feels like you never left each other. That's what it feels like for me...
