Look for a primer to apply to your lids before applying any make-up. It will keep it all in-tact all day. Some people use regular foundation for a primer but it just doesn't work as well. Beauti-Control used to make one, I don't know if they still do, but I'm sure other companies make them.

A very inexpensive trick is to wet an eyelining brush (important to have a decent, slender, slanted one) and use your own eye shadows as liner. You will get a variety of colors, as much as your eye shadow wardrobe will allow, and it will appear more intense than the shadow applied dry, so it won't end up too "matchy". It lasts all day on the oiliest skin, never smears, and applies thinly and evenly with just a tiny bit of practice. Have fun!

Liquid liner, definitely. I use the Elain Eyeliner Duet. It has a pencil and liquid. I use the pencil first, then put the liquid right on top. I have very oily skin and it stays well. Try cosmeticmall.com to buy it.

I love the kind that you don't have to sharpen...lol that way it always goes on so easily, and when you run out you just twist the cap and more comes out.
No matter what brand you buy of this it's always great...I bought some from the dollar store once and it worked amazing, stayed on my skin all day (which is also really oily).

I have oily skin and I like Clinique's eyeliner. It goes on smooth, you blend it... and within minutes it dries and stays on for quite a while!!! I wear a surgical mask and protective eye wear so just imagine how warm I get... with my naturally oily skin! I like it... hope you try it! Good luck!!!

I would not use liquid eye liner... Try Mabeyline eye liner! It is cheap and it looks great and it will not smudge! It works really good!
