log into your modem and there should be a link to update the firmware. Most modems use the IP 192.168.1.254. your model may use a different IP, usually only the last two octets are different.

the default for modems are 192.168.1.1 not 192.168.1.254 the 192.168.1.1 is default for 90% for all modems and routers
