Do dreams have meanings, if so what do snakes mean?
I heard that it mean that you have an enemy somewhere among me or someone is going to try to hurt me?
I do not try people, what in the world?
what do you think.

In the dream the snake was lying on the ground, and I was afraid of it. It was a rattlesnake, and in order for me to get pass the snake, i had to cross the snake without touching it. The snake was acting like it was going to bite me, but couldn't but wanted to. Should I be aware of the dream?

I never knew that, but, I have rattle snake in the basement dreams.
When some one in my immediate family goes down into my basement and is trapped by the snakes, If I (mom) can get past the snakes and get my family out with out a bite the crisis passes.
When the family member gets bit and I cannot get there on time, so that I am carrying a snake bite victim(they never die) from the basement...well that person is going to undergo a trial that I cannot micro-manage(as moms do) and I must sit and let the events happen. People create most of their own problems and some time I just cannot help my children except to be waiting in the wings. I never knew other people had the snakes as a warning though, I thought I was just a little odd! I consider the dream snakes as my friends, they set my mind for the trouble to come, I am braced for it when the trouble hits!

If you live in a state or country where rattlesnakes are an actual danger, I would look at it more as a dream based on a fear you have of encountering a snake. If you don't, it may symbolize something like a temptation or a hidden danger somewhere around you.

The snake is a representation of an enemy in your midst OR a person who may not think you're being truthful. In my experience, though it meant a sign of a really bad omen. It all depends on the context, actually. My sister dreams of snakes a lot, and every time, she has really good luck...

Don't know where your info came from but they are dead on---dreams of snakes are indicators that there is an active move by someone or something to harm you---this could be on any number of levels and the full dream would have to be laid out in full to read it

Depends what snakes represent to you subconsciously. Dreams do have a way of coming true when your subconscious is trying to protect you from something you may well know is dangerous but have come to ignore and minimize.

Dreams.. Hah. Dreams don't mean anything. Wake up in your dream... when your in your dream say to yourself... "Hey this is just a dream, i can do whatever I want to do" then turn that mean ol' rattlesnake into a puppy or something.

Lucid dreaming, is fun for hours and hours while you sleep.

Was the snake going through a tunnel? If so, then the dream was sexual. Was the snake eating a donut? If so, then the dream was sexual. Was the snake dead and limp? If so, then the dream was sexual. Yada Yada Yada...
