I recently got certified with CompTIA and so now I am A+ Certified. Does anyone know if that will really help me find jobs that much easyier or if it will mean much more in the lines of pay?

My husband has no formal education in computers and he has worked on them for about 4 years now. He runs into people that are A+ certified and says that they "act" like the know everything about computers when really they're ignorant jerks. Just don't be like that and I think you'll be fine.

I do a lot of hiring at our company and normally I dont really hire the ones that have a certificate, but its better than not having anything at all. I usually pick the person with the most experience since training costs money and if they had experience using tools and had hands-on experience, then it saves me from training them. If I were you, I would try to get my foot in the door and start off with a low salary and then gain experience. If you add experience on top of your certificate, then you will be a really good asset to a company.

for low level technician work, it may help. Plus it looks good on a resume.

Really, it's just a stepping stone into the rest of the certification process. Your next step should be Network + and then a specific disipline, such as Cisco (CCNA,CCNP) or Microsoft (MCP,MCSA)

Lots of employers want to see certifications on your resume. But they won't hire you based on them. Basically, the certifications HELP get you in the door, YOU and KNOWING your stuff gets you the job.
