I think that they are no different than the rest of us, and there is no reason to treat them as such. Gay people can take care of babies, gay people can have successful relationships, and it is about time that people wake up and realize that. Gay adoption? Why not? Gay marriage? why not? What is so different about their love that they have to be discriminated against for it? And if you are thinking "god said it is bad!" that doesnt mean that athiests and agnostics can't have kids, I dont see you protesting that!

Gay people are like straight or other 'bent' people: they run the gamut from conservative, monogamous, patriotic types all the way to the anarchist, the tattooed person, the liberal, etc.

The problem with this question is that you are asking about a blanket statement to be applied to an enormous segment of the population, as though they were distinguishable from everyone else simply by virtue of being gay.

Doesn't - or shouldn't - work like that. The sooner everyone thinks of people without the qualifiers - 'gay" or 'senior" or Italian' for example - the sooner there will be some small step toward harmony or at least tolerance. Do you wish to be identified solely by your sexual preference? What would you think if someone asked "what do you think of that gay/not gay fellow ?" When you may be an artist, a writer, an accountant, an adventurer, have children, three wives, are a member of the Club of Rome etc - do you think you should be thought of as gay/not gay and nothing more?

Homosexual people are just like heterosexual or bi-sexual people. Some are awesome, some are jerks.

If you are asking how I feel about Gay Rights on the other hand, I am an avid supporter of equality whether it be sexual orientation, race, gender or any of the other segregating titles. Homosexuals have the right to be married, have home and children, right to a fair trail, equal pay and all of the other rights heterosexual and some bi-sexuals enjoy (in the US).

i am also a heterosexual, but, i think to each person is there own. At least homosexual people are not like people from the church, they dont push it on you and try to make you believe in them. They are no different then you and me other then they like the same sex. they still poop, put on shoes the same and pull there pants up the same way.

There is no wrong love, I'm not gay but I can't say that their love is wrong just because it's not a heterosexual relationship. You can't help who you fall in love with or what type of person you like. I will respect any one who respects me as well, no matter what race, sexuality, and sexual preferance.

I think it's really more important to focus on the similarities of homosexual and heterosexual relationships than the differences. Both share elements of romance, emotional intimacy and committment. There is a difference of sex - that's of lesser importance though.

I love gay people. two of my best friends are gay and they are such a laugh. i think gay people are more outgoing. you THINK you are for them? theres nothing different about a gay person apart from the fact that they are attracted to the same sex. they cant help it and theres nothing wrong with it at all.

i think it is ok to be gay. i think it is hard to find love, so if you find someone it shouldnt matter what sex, race, color or religion they are. i dont see why the whole gay marriage thing is such a big deal. i dont know why they dont just let them get married. they are going to be gay together either way so what difference does it make?

Sometimes I feel uncomfortable around lesbians, but I've always felt just fine around gay guys.
