Once long when I was a wee child I was playing in the attic in my grandmothers house down in the hills of Kentucky. After about six hours I got tired and lay my head down on an old dusty pillow.Yes it was a goose feather pillow if you must know.I must have fallen asleep for a few hours and when I woke. I was shocked to see Cobbs all over the place spinning webs and swinging from one web to another. When they realized I was awake they scattered to all the little hiding places from whence they came. All shy of one who was a little cobb and could not find his way back to his mom. We started talking and he told me about how they are raised to hide from an early age from us humans. After we had talked for a few moments his mother came looking for him and she snatched him up and she tried to hypnotize me ,to make me forget what had happened. I pretended to be under her spell. I did everything she said and when she left I walked calmly out of the attic and have never told the story till now for fear of being ridiculed.

THIS STORY IS NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART BOYS & GIRLS: Here is the true story of Mr. Spider Cobb and his beautiful spider web home.
Once in a land far far far away there were cute little spiders with the last name of Cobb.
Then one day these mean aliens came and tore apart their happy home. They swore they would eradicate every Cobb nest from their new home.
never once did those horrible Hummens think maybe Mr. & Mrs. Cobb would have happily shared everything they had. It was geniside, I tell you, geniside!

Hope this helps!! Pandora

Sort of I had a Cobb Horse when I was a child, it is an animal bred in Whales. She was very gentle, except with the neighbors Shetland Pony, who was kind of a jerk anyways!
So what kind of a COBB were you asking about anyhow?

No cobbs but of you spray lavender oil into your corners, you won't have the webs.

Many times. A cob is an old word for a kind of spider.

Cob also means stumpy or short-legged (hence a cob horse).
