From a business in Hollywood, around midnight. Does it really cost almost $300? It did me! I get the lesson! And maybe a new get-rich-quick business opportunity!

Now this was $276, after about an hour, and no ticket! Just for the tow, and impound fee. That's ridiculous!

Getting towed is a venture into the under-belly of urban society. From the tow'ers, to the people that work at the towing places, Right down to the people that get towed, is an adventure in the seedier side of life.

I feel for ya, dude. Getting my car back from these cretins cost $150.

I'm afraid it does cost this much...Just out of the gate the police calling a tow truck is at the very least $75--and that's just a regular tow truck--please don't need a flat bed. Ticket another $100 + bucks and don't even mention storage...sometimes $300 is cheap...yeah just another racket!

It depends on where you live. Tow truck companies and operators are so ruthless and evil. My car was illegally towed three times from my own apartment within a week's time! Then, they had the nerve to run over my then-fiance causing him to go to the emergency room for stitches plus months in physical therapy.

Be careful and don't piss them off!

Yes, it is very expensive! I have road side assistance with one of my credit cards, my car insurance and my cell phone company, alltel! I use them all too! I lock my keys in my car from time to time, get flat tires, the usual! Also, you can use them to help people out, and I work at a hotel, so if some one needs something, I'll use one of those. The first couple of times I had to write those people a check, I decided I'd rather pay an extra three dollars a month than pay that bill!

Hey, if I towed you once, I towed you a thousand times! Don't park there. :)
