the cottage is on a lake, what are some creative things we can do for fun? I wanted to rent some jet-ski's but thats like 380 dollars a day! Any thoughts?

get some water guns and have a water war
You could play tug of war in the water,
you could play chicken (I think thats what it is called...when you get on someone elses shoulders and knock the other person off)
uuum get a cheap blow up raft and just float around.
Marco polo.....
if there is a tree around, make a quick swing so you can launch yourself into the water (make sure you KNOW what you are jumping into though! wouldnt want to hit a rock!!)
have swim races

I did that too, in a cabin. We went for walks and swam in the lake (kinda gross)... and we rented boats just regular paddle boats, and took pictures in some of the scenic views. We also played card games inside and listened to music and had cook outs over the fire.
