Doctors do not do research they prescribe what they have been told works. Some doctors go on to study other reasons but drug companies subsidize the training of doctors and they get biased info on drugs and no alternative training so just like a dog trained to jump on command some doctors hear a problem and BAM this drug helps make you better even if there is a safer all natural substitute because that was not included in their training.

Do doctors recommend it? I thought any good doctor would not be biased and recommend a specific brand, they would recommend taking a daily vitamin, and make some suggestions...

Besides which, doctors have probably done alot more training than you have, and are trained to look at research and pick out the truth from fiction!

You may be surprised, but many low-quality vitamins use binders that are not easily absorbed into the body. This means you may receive little or none of the benefits that supplements should provide.
