Honestly i don't see why you two are in a hurry to get married. You both have the rest of your lives for that. You have to make sure that you are both financially stable or at least one is to be able to support the other. There are bills that are involved in getting married, it's not a piece of cake. You can't have your cake and eat it too. It takes time to get married. It's basically boils down to the marriage law in your state. I don't know what state you are in, but all I know is that the law requires 18 and if she's 17 she must have her parents permission no matter what. Sorry!

I know you don't want to hear this but you two are too young to be getting married. You haven't had a chance to really live yet!!!! Don't do anything that will cause tension between she and her parents. You two need to step back and evaluate things. Enjoy the relationship that you have now but hold off on marriage until you both mature a little more and you have a better understanding of what you want because right now believe me you two are living in a dream!!

Do you want to go to jail?.. wait a year things happen within a year..if you love her like you say you do, wait until you both can sign on the line without sneaking behind parents backs, be a man about the things you do in life. ALWAYS do it right the first time

No, I have been married for 9 years. I married my wife when I was 17 and she was 16. No children at the time of marriage. I work full time. Our parents knew that I worked. You will have to get her parents to sign. are her parents still together? If not then you only have to have the one that has full custody of her to sign. My wife lived with her dad & step mom, but since her biological mother had custody of her, she was the one who had to sign. My parents were still married & so they both had to sign the papers. We live in Mississippi! But we obtained our license in TN! Good luck!!

tastes change as you grow, and you never know, you might end up being in a relationship with someone who's rich and beautiful, has the best qualities a WOMAN can have...IF you wait a few years.. i know im probably being very annoying tellin you things many have probably said before, but PLEASEE, don't be another statistic... go to college, live your dream, THEN get married. PLEASEE!!

If you are marrying in a Catholic Church you have to be at least 16 and 14, so yes you can get married. But I wouldn't recommend it, what if it doesn't work out and you need to get a divorce. I would wait awhile and see how it goes, at least until she turns 18.

why need to get married at such a young age?? your life is just starting, college and life lessons to learn. and learning about yourself.
I have 2 sisters that needed to be married(was pregnant at the time, 17, and 18yr) both ended in divorces after 14 and 18yr of marriage both sisters miserable throughout their marriages. but now happy living by themselves and knowing what good moms they really are and good people on their own. and noone to bother them.
get to know yourselves dont rush into marriage at this age.

I doubt it. But it depends on your state. And Alabama isn't it. You are not considered an adult yourself here until you are 19.
Call your local courthouse and ask them what the legal age to get married is.
You will most likely just have to wait until she is 18 though.

In less than one year, she will be 18, so just be patient. Marriage is a lifetime committment, so there is no need to rush into it.
