It can be very normal to have some cramping, but not severe. If it is accompanied by bleeding you must go to the emergency room right away. If it is just light to mild cramps I would not worry, but make sure you call your doctor or midwife and let them know what is going on...just incase. Best wishes;-)
Since you say there is no bleeding, I would just keep ay eye on the situation and still call the doc on Monday. If it continues to get worse I would call sooner. My friend had cramping too when she was about 6 weeks pregnant and the baby is now six weeks old. Just take it easy and try not to worry too much;-)

Yeah it is common it seems to be the worst in 1st pregnancy. Always check with your ob/gyn. Even mildly painful cramps ARE common. If you have bad pains or start to bleed those are concerns. You can take tylonal sp? even in pregnancy it may help. It will get better as the pregnancy gets farther along. IT is growing pain and a hormone combo that causes this. Ever your boobs will feel sore. My ob has told me you may have mildly painful cramps and they are from the womb STREATCHING . ALWAYS call your doctor thou to be safe!

Where are the pains? How bad are they? If they are in the lower belly area where the uterus is, then no that's not really normal. A little bit of a queezy or uncomfortable feeling may be there, but in general, pregnancy doesn't hurt. If it's getting too bad to tolerate, talk to your doctor.

Yeah, growing pains. Your ligaments on the sides of your uterus are stretching and this does hurt. I had some pain somewhere in my body throughout all 3 of my pregnancies. Best wishes

No. Any pain or discomfort is not regular. Please go and see an OB immediately. Prevention is better that cure. You might loose that baby and you will regret it for the rest of your life. You can not blame people later on because they told you other wise. Good luck.

You should at least call your ob/gyn and describe the pain to him/her. If you are pregnant in your fallopian tubes rather than in your uterus, you need to find out ASAP.

Discomfort is normal in pregnancy but not pain. I would see my OBGYN to see why you are feeling pain.
