I would like to add that people think some divorces are the result of people not trying sex before marriage. They say that after they got married and had sex for the first time, it didn't go so well causing problems.. they say that people who are going to marry should know before hand if they connect on every level which includes sex..
What's your take on this?

Here is my take on the whole staying a virgin thing, I really think that societies morales have been thrown out the window, sex is just thrown around as a casual thing, its not. Sex means there is commitment between 2 people who love each other, now don't get me wrong people who are not married can be in love and even have commitment but what better way to show your love then to be with someone for the rest of your life. As for people saying all that stuff about having sex before marriage its to make them feel better that they have done something wrong, so they come up with excuses.

there are to many people that jump into bed very early on in the relationship . and they fall in love because they have had wonderful sex . so the get married based on a sexual relationship. well life can never be based on sex because it will get ordinary after a while. so then when life comes up and hits them between the eyes all they have a sex life to fall back on. and that just does not hold up , they do not get to know the true person how the are on the inside. once the newness and the "great" sex is over there is nothing left.

Every society evolves with times. Virginity, which was considered a virtue abd a 'prize' in some societies, is no longer put on a pedestal. The media's obsession with sex has also resulted in this attitude.

nothing has changed in the desires we have, it was that way decades ago too. We just were more scared about our parents finding out and about becoming pregnant before the pill was invented. We had the same hormonal wars going on. Virginity is a person al choice. You need to make your choice and TRY and stick with it. Whatever your choice may be.

If you are rooted in moral value, it is easy to resist sex until after marriage. No, sex is NOT, I repeat Not, an absolute must, when you are in a relationship with a person who holds the same moral values as you.

no, not before marriage. I know plenty of people who are happily married and waited. Plus the Bible says that sex should not occur outside of marriage.

no sex is not needed but most people think that it is some kind of prerequisite in a relationship. what most people don't realize until it is too late is that while sex is one way too show you love someone it usually ends up complicating the relationship.

I'm not a virgin, but abstinent at the moment. Its not hard. Women a lot of times crave romance more than sex.

its pure pressure, just say no!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! you can have a relationship without the sex. if you fall in-love then take it from their. make sure its love and not infatuation. love takes some time. so take your time as well. don't be pressured into sex if, this is the case its not the right one for you. its called respect for your body and mind. do the right thing.
