Yes. I found the answers to the question I asked which brought me here really valuable, although I know it is ultimately up to me what I decide to do or not do. I have given advice which seemed to be appreciated on message boards before, so even though I'm pretty lacking in energy at the moment it feels good to be able to do it, since I don't have anyone else I can communicate with (sad, isn't it? -that's marriage for you :) and it comes natural to me to want to try to help, which was my job before I became physically ill some years ago. There's something in mythology about a 'wounded healer'. That's how I feel. Sometimes the more pain we feel or have felt ourselves, the easier it is to empathise and offer insight and comfort to others. I'm not saying people who haven't messed up their own lives like I have aren't more competent to advise, I'm sure some of them are. But what seems easy to some, seems hard or almost impossible to those who's lives keep putting obstacles in their path, or who suffer from self-sabotage. I'm working through a book on the Sedona Method at the moment, which is really helping me, and I would highly recommend to anyone suffering emotionally or in need of help to handle one or more problems. And as others have said, its the anonymity of this site that makes it possible (and refreshing) to be open and honest. You just have to be careful what you post if you want to remain anonymous. I've seen email addresses and even phone numbers posted here. Think before you post that thousands of people -anyone! - can read what you post. I think it's now 24 hours since I posted my question so I'll go and 'mark' it - a hard job as so many great answers.

we as humans need someone to talk to. we cant always go to our loved ones or friends because they are too close to the situation. we can talk to complete strangers because they dont know us and if they dont like what we say there is always a button to get rid of them. i dont ask personal questions on here, but i have given some very personal answers. i dont have anything to hide in my life, anyone can ask me anything and they will get an open and honest answer. beware, the answers may not be what you want to hear. reality can be harsh at times. i'm not going to lie to anyone just to let them hear what they want to hear if its not the truth or the true way i feel about a subject.

Hey man, Hunting seasons for most game end in the Springtime. That means very little (legal) hunting occurs in the Spring and Summer. Spring and Summer are the traditional gun show, gun trading, recreational shooting, outdoor tactical gaming, fishing, boating, and tall-tale-tellin' Seasons. Think about it. It makes sense. Hunting questions will become more prevelant in the Fall again, I promise. -Till then, broaden your horizions, talk guns, talk shop, figure out what Airsoft is all about, take a kid fishing, tell stories about the one that got away, go to the drag races, don't be sad. Hunting season will be back before the elections.

I try my best to be truthful and helpful on here. Lot's of times people will ask strangers very straightforward questions as sort of a personal reality check.
I don't see it as a bad thing.

people need answers this is just a place to get them, if people weren't being truthful than asking a lot of these thing would be pointless and a waste of peoples time

I'm truthful. This site is relatively anonymous. No one can see me, and no one knows who I am. As far as everyone on here knows, i'm smurfette.
