I would go with newegg.com they are a great company. But if you want to compair prices go to http://www.pricewatch.com there you can get the prices of computer parts and barebone systems. This way you can either piece together your own system or get is barebones.

The cheapest and best set-ups are those you build yourself. Pickup a PC magazine or two, and you are bound to find some DIY section. Since there will be no warranty, you should learn as much as you can before buying the parts you want, and consult your computer-literate peers regarding compatibility issues on your choices. Good luck!

If you're truly a bargain hunter, you may want to try a site called slickdeals.net. You can find really really great deals. You can find many deals for a complete entry level computer system for about $200. If you don't believe me check this out. But be warned some deals go by fast!!

You can get cheap barebones from tigerdirect, and really good deals on fully loaded used systems (usually Dell) from surpluscomputers.com

While I don't recommend using them for "normal" computer parts, TigerDirect is the best for barebones. Here's the link to their barebones page: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/category/category_tlc.asp?CatId=31
