yes they should, most of them know nothing about war, never been there, Like Bu$h and Cheney who are both draft dodgers.
Republicans love sending others to do their dirty work for them, they also love it that the working class tax payers will pay the $2 trillion cost of war over the next ten years.
If Republicans were in Iraq supporting the troops as they say they do, then none would be here.
Hey, I got a Idea. lets send the 22 million illegals that walked into our country while we are spending billions in Iraq.

Nope, they are too old and grey to do anything over there. They will just hurt the troops more than help. I wouldn't want to have to clean up after em!!

RebelYankee- People in the military signed up to defend their country, fighting in Iraq is not defending it. Anyone who thinks that Iraq was a threat to the U.S. is beyond retarded. You seem to be a dumbass either way. And I am a serviceman that does not support this war so ******* kiss it!!!

yes they should if they think it is so great and part of the american fabric then they should put their life where their mouth is. by the way do u think it is disturbing that former military personel oppose the war and more and more soldiers are awol because they can't even stand to fight anymore and they know what is going on in iraq because they were to see it with their own eyes they didn't hear it from the government how wonderful things are over in iraq.

Good point, but the guys who signed up for the military are the ones who have volunteered. I am not for the war at all, but damn, what would have happened if we never got involved in WWII? We'd all be speaking German. Honestly, nobody likes war, but for God's sake, that is what our military is for and the people who sign up for it are perfectly aware of what that means. I suggest to all the people who are so against war to go and live in Switzerland.

Bleeding hearts are so pathetic and so unpatrioctic. Their ideas and crap is why American society has changed so much since WWII and why so many people now do not have work ethic, honor, or dignity. Nothing is going to change. No one is going to end this war because some liberals are whining and crying, so quit it. Its ridiculous. I mean look at the the damned illegals, many of which are criminals, were just given amnesty to live here. Who wanted that in America? Did they listen to the majority? Nope. So stop the boo hoo act and pay attention to your local and state government elections because they are your furture presidents.

Most of us in support of the war have already been to war ourselves (Desert Storm for me). The funny thing is, from my personal observations, most people opposed to the war have never been involved in any sort of military service...they like whining about how awful war is, yet love living the freedoms they have in the U.S. at the same time.

This is, of course, and insane statement. Do you support the politicians who are against the war?

You should either get elected to congress and help fight against the war or you have no right to be against it.

That is exactly the equivalent of what you are now saying.

There are anti-war people, and military people. Thats fair enough.

But then there are the chickenhawks, like Bush, like Cheney and like all these Young Republican cowards who say "Lets go to war!!! I'll kill you with other people's children other people's blood" These people are the toilet scum of our society and it is time someone called them on it. These fools with theier stupid yellow ribbons on thier SUVs... these gutless cowards who have no opinion either way, they just want to act tough, they wouldn't fight the war or fight to end the war... this is why Ann Coulters book sells, because it appeals to these chickenshits and they think her eating disordered stupidity is pleasurable... while people are dying. Screw them.

No they should join the Red Cross and try to alleviate some of the suffering being caused, a side effect of this would be for them to learn what they are talking about.
