Demonology is the study of demons. I'm sure it exists though it's not something I want to study. Demons and devils are the same thing and they do exist. They are fallen angels and servants of Satan. If we can believe God exists and His holy angels, why not His archenemy Satan and his fallen angels? The Bible has many references to Satan, including the story of how he tempted Jesus before Jesus went into public ministry for three years before the Crucifixion. He is our enemy and how convenient for him if we don't believe he is real.
Satan was once a holy angel who was beautiful in appearance and made beautiful music. If 1/3 of the holy angels could be deceived by his vain and doubting talk, let us beware that we are not. I'd love to share with you more information and Scriptures, but a concordance will guide you in looking up verses on this topic.
Many "crazy" people, drug addicts, and dabblers in the occult have personal experience with demons and don't have the same doubts about their existence that some of the rest of us do.

Demons/Demonology do exist i believe, but not in the way you may be thinking. Demons are all around us but they don't have horns, devil like faces etc..

Demons are our worst fears and problems generated by our minds to remind us what is right/wrong. Years ago they used to show old books with monsters/demons etc to scare people into not doing wrong (stop that or the bogeyman will get you)

Yes. Sometimes we create our own, but who is to say they don't exist in this world? The human brain only uses a small percent of it's potential. Our 6 senses are only developed in so far as we can use them. The world is much more than we know.

For example; a dog's sense of smell, an eagle's eyesight or an idiot savant's one great talent ( RainMan). Our existence doesn't depend on any more than we need, so our senses are there, but most people do not develop them or open their minds to the reality that we experience very little of the world we inhabit. Demons, devils, and angels, too, don't need a world of their own, they are with us.

Yes Odette, I believe.
Today they are called many things, fairies, familiar spirits, good spirits, bad spirits and so on.
Wiccans are to be commended in recognizing the reality of this dimension even more that many Christians do.
The Bible says in the last days the church will "have a form of godliness but deny the power." This has certainly come to pass.
I believe one of the consequences is that many young people are taking a "little trip" onto the dark side. In Wicca the power of spirits in not denied by any means.
I have lost my only son to Wicca. He was so bored and discouraged with what was happening in our churches.
I pray he will return and believe that Jesus is real and that all the spirits in this world, friendly or unfriendly are no match for my Savior.
Hope this helps.

Yes. In every myth lies truth of some sort. If you believe in the bible then yes demons exist. If you don't the answer is still yes. Every belief in the world has demons and claims of a greater evil. Without evil there can never be good. And finally, They exist in every world.

Yes. But not every Entity that 'exists' in the ways you mean can be called 'Evil'. Nor can they be called 'Good'. The word 'Demon' does little to describe the truth of it all. They just are what they are. Some can be helpful, others not so. Either way, ALL demand a price for deliberate interaction.

i believe in balance, that is if you do something wrong you will be wronged, do good and you will have no hassles. Demons are just a way of scaring people into doing the right thing, which i think is the wrong approach to drawing the best from humanity.

The only demons that exist reside in the minds of the religious freaks who need to believe in a "devil" in order to justify their belief in a "god" to protect them from it.

Aside from that, no... it makes for good entertainment, but thats all.

definite. In my humble opinion the universe is determined on layers equivalent to what you take advantage of in Photoshop or Adobe Illustrator. Now we are on layer "a million" shall we are saying the angels and demons are on layer "2" they could quite see and paintings mutually with our layer yet they are prevented from interacting better with the aid of power holding both dimensions aside. Now each thing that occurs in our universe could be balanced very like an algebraic equation. for this reason what occurs right here impacts stuff over there and vice versa. they could flow gadgets by ability of interfacing with although hint that merchandise has on their aspect. additionally they can interface with your thoughts. that's how possesion occurs. Our result on their aspect is largely a secret and needs better study.
