I know. This is funny. It must be some kind of liability thing. Maybe you can't sue when you bash your car because they did warn us.
In the state of Connecticut, for many years they had these signs posted everywhere saying "This road is legally closed". Didn't mean you couldn't drive on it, just that the State was refusing to take any responsibility for what happened.

You are so right! I've seen signs saying "dangerous curve". Why not just put in a guard rail?
