I'm writing a story back in the 1930's and I'm doing it like I Live with the kennedys

The women wore nice clothes and were perfect ladies. The men always were in control and the ppl back then would probably die if they saw how we lived

Not really sure about their etiquette, but I think it was pretty damn shameful what they did to the daughter who was "slow". Joseph Kennedy made her undergo a labotomy while his wife was out of town. After that, the girl was like a vegetable and they had to hide her away from the world in a mental institution. What a horrible existence! What a horrible thing for a parent to do to their child.

Women always wore hats and matching gloves, didn't work. Men wore hats and suits pretty much ran the show.
Women wore ladies and in todays day and age would gasp at our society and beliefs.
