Do you regard G.G. as a real man of the people, or just a publicity-seeking buffoon? And do you think he is right to claim that there is some moral justification in calling for the assassination of Tony Blair?

Reject the unjustified ego.
He supports those that wish to destroy this country. And by that definition he is a traitor who should be tried for treason.

I'd be very surprised to find he hasn't been on the take from either Qaddafi or Saddam - why else would he have that ridiculous moustache if not to copy Saddam?
He cannot explain where his money comes from - gifts from the Middle-East maybe?
You really have to be very suspicious of those that associate with him.
His election was marred by violence and racism against his opponents. Of course Curious George denies knowledge of this, just like his own income.

He is as you say a publicity seeking buffoon and as such a REJECT. When he went into the big brother house I didn`t know if he was a good or bad man. I have since looked and read things abouy him and decided he is definately a reject out for himself. He was definately evil saying there were grounds to assassinate Tony Blair. He should have been prosecuted for incitement.

Galloway is an egocentric, hotheaded blowhard who craves publicity and courts controversy. Your own term, "a publicity-seeking buffoon" is equally apt. Frankly, he is an embarrassment, to Scotland, to Great Britain, to the world at large. I tune the man out and would advise others to do likewise.

As for his claim of "moral justification" for advocating the assassination of Prime Minister Tony Blair, this only serves to confirm my low opinion of the man. No rational, sensible, responsible person -- particularly in public life -- would openly argue in favour of the politics of assassination. The fact that the intended target would be a political leader whom many, including this writer (notwithstanding my own fundamental disagreement with his decision to go to war against Iraq), happen to respect and admire, only furthers my belief that Galloway is in fact monkey nuts.

The man is a self-aggrandizing fool. How can someone represent a party called "Respect" and then indulge in the debasing antics he did on "Big Brother"? As for his opinion on blowing up Tony Blair, I don't think that even merits acknowledgement, as it is such a ludicrous statement.

He talks occasional sense but is such an obviously narcisistic oaf that it's difficult to either like him or support him.

I never trust a politician (or anyone else for that matter) who boasts about how many times they've successfully litigated and won. This sounds like the Mafiosi who boasts about the number of juries that haven't convicted.

respect to Galloway.

What he said was not "yes lets kill blair" but rather that he could understand the motives of somebody bumping him off. With Tones blatant but kissing of bush, he has made many enemies.

George is a top bloke, met him in brighton last week at a trade union conference, bought me a pint so my mind is made up.

He is a joke.
Nothing he says can be taken seriously.
No-one who appears on a reality television programme can expect anything they say or do in the future to be accepted with any credibility. They have been seen to be attention-seeking individuals who will stop at nothing to further their own celebrity.

I think he's barking mad

I think he is lucky not to be charged with inciting trouble.

The thing about living in this country is that he is able to say what he says because we are in a democracy.

If he made similar comments about his so called friends in their country, his head would be off

He is an expert at synthetic indignation. What gives him the right to be more annoyed than any one else.

I have to admit that he is damn good at it, that's what makes him so dangerous.
