God is all knowing and all powerful but omnipotent is not all knowing
! so what is the word that includes both? If you believe in GOD

Omniscient just means "having total knowledge" so that wouldn't have any effect on him having to rest. However, the xian god is also supposed to be omnipotent, which is "having unlimited power". If that's the case (unlimited power) then it would make sense that rest wouldn't be needed...otherwise, there's a limit, right?

Omniscient means he knows everything. You can still get tired when you're all-knowing.
I think you mean 'omnipotent.' Which God is also supposed to be. That's a better question.

Because he was done... didn't want to overdo it... I mean, the platypus was an end of day six thing, he realized he was getting a little punchy. Oh, and omniscient means all-knowing; you probably meant omnipotent - all powerful.

Because he knew that mankind could not keep up with him and would need a day to recover.It is also a day to sitback and reflect on things that you have done wrong during the week and try and work on living your life better this week

God is omniscient. That means He is all-knowing.
He also refrained from His labors, on the seventh day, which is reserved for Him. That's why we take (or should take) Sunday off, from our labors and use it to worship Him.
