There are goverment agencies that can provide loan gaurantees for small business or education.
You can consider going to family and friends. If you can secure even a portion of the needed amount it may help you if and when you approach a lending institution.
You may also consider asking your employer.
Remember that there are special government loan programs for person's with disabilities who wish to start a small business.
Finally, professional associations, alumni associations, social service clubs are all potential loan sources for members.

I don't belive so. They want collateral because they think if you put up something of yours, you will be more likely to pay back the loan.

Yeah.....your local loanshark. The vig will be 500% the first week and rise steadily after that.
No collateral required. Unless you count kneecaps.

Frank Gotti would often make these kinds of loans. I suppose if you were to approach other members of "the Family," they would make you an offer of sorts.

It depends largely on your credit rating, and your monthly income. If you have no credit/bad credit you chances are slim, and none.
