She can but she won't be healthy in the end.

Probably not, unless she has surgery. The shortest amount of time I see losing 50 entire pounds is about 3 to 5 months and that is even losing it way too fast. To get longterm weight loss results, she needs to make a whole life change, not just a crash diet. It should take her anywhere from 6 months to a year to lose this weight but if she loses it the right way through eating healty and excercise, the chances of her KEEPING it off are GREATLY increased.

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.
I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.
It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.

No. You lose weight then you stop for awhile. I went from 400 pounds to 190 pounds, but it took me 2 1/2 years to do it. By the way, I have had the weight off for 8 years now.

No, 8-10 pounds per month is a realistic and reasonable goal. She didn't put the weight on over night and should not expect to take it off over night either. Diet and exercise is the key. Tell her to check out Weight Watchers and start walking. Best wishes to her!

Other than surgery yes. If you starve yourself and exercise you can lose up to 10 pounds a week. This method can lead to heart failure and death!! It is dangerous so I hope your asking out of curiosity and not planning on using this method!!
when you starve yourself you force your body to find its calories and nutrition elsewhere. So your body will find it with in the body. Mainly your internal organs!

Only way it to go on a liquid diet with exercise. That amount of weight loss that fast would not be healthy though.
