It was brilliant and meant to be an interactive movie, especially the midnight showings. It has to be experienced that way. On TV it's fun, but no where near as much as getting involved in it.
Nice to see that all the stars went on to bigger and better fame. Guess that shows the talent they had and have.

A great movie (have the DVD) and what got me to get the movie was
A) seeing a performance of Time Warp on the Tony telecast a few years ago from when it was on Broadway

B) Getting the soundtrack a falling in love with the music, leading to the DVD

a great movie.
it spoke about pure good. brad and janet.
and pure evil. Dr. Frank-N-Furter, Riff Raff, Magenta.
and what happens when pure good interacts with pure evil.

interesting enough. Richard O'Brien .... Riff Raff wrote it.
also, there is a sequel. Shock Treatment (1981)

oh, by the way. the play actually has like 3 more songs in it.

On DVD wouldn't watch it. This movie was not made to be watched it was made to be experienced with the wild crowds at the midnight showings back in the early 80's!

AWESOME! C'mon! Tim Curry in a corset and heels? How can you go wrong? My kids (6&7) love the Time Warp song although they aren't old enough to see it yet.

- is a perversely ORIGINAL picture that juggles its sexuality and corniness quite well!

No one can copy the performances of Tim Curry, Susan Sarandon, Barry Bostwick & Meatloaf!
