I want to have my own website to sell new and used items. I want to know what, if any, licenses I need before I get started. I live in South Carolina, if that helps.

Generally you won't need any license. Though be sure to check your states laws regarding small business'. Many of them require you have a tax ID number for paying and collecting taxes.

Yes if you live in Georgia, Your Buisness Licence is for an On Line Store and it is $60.00 per calendar Year.
