possibly I think somewhere the computer holds backup information, but not sure of that, I know they used to, cause I found documents on them before that I had not saved after power outage and thought I lost hours of work. Usually it would have a computer generated name or something

Clear History
Go to "tools".."Internet options".."clear history"
To delete from search bar
Highlight(not click) the site you want to delete with your mouse...then simple hit
the delete key on the keyboard.

Yes. Tools --> Internet Options ----> Settings ----> View Files
this will give you a whole list of websites frequently visted, the dates, times and everything. Very helpful to know, especially if you have kids.

If it happens that they didn't delete the cookies as well, you can go to 'Tools', 'internet options', Click the 'settings' button, then click the 'view files' button and you can look through the cookies from visited sites.

if you have to you can set the computer back to a previous date before the stuff was deleted.

Yes you can unplug the memory hook data, or you can shut the hole computer down then surn EVERYTHING back on.
