My most cherished memory is being 4 years old having been told my mum was being pregnant with my baby brother. Then one day she turns up with the baby.I wanted a sister so much i refused to believe he was a boy.So my mum decided to dress him up in a white dress & bonnet & call him Kerry Louise.I was over the moon until my mum asked me to help change his nappy,i discovered he had a little widgy & kicked up a fuss. The moral of this story is,"she tricked me into accepting him",& iam glad she did cos he is a lovely brother.

I should say giving birth to my children. But my answer is watching my grandmother taking her last breaths before she slipped away.I cherish that memory because it was the last time I looked at the person who was like my mum.she looked so peaceful and pain free.It was my last moment with her and I was so glad she had gone to a better place than continue to suffer.

My father had me late in life, he was 56, and I was proud to be there for him when he passed away, at 79 years of age, in hospital. We talked all evening, about the family, how things were with me, what he would do when he got out, I got him to tell me more of what happened when he was a Royal Marine Sargent in the second world-war( he didn't like to talk about it much), it was just like the eleven evenings before that he spent in hospital, and he was laughing and joking with me less than twenty minutes before he died.
I really miss you, Dad, and I wish you could have met my lovely wife, and seen things work out so well for me. Peace.
