Why are you taking a poll on this? Do what you feel is right. You alone will have to live with your decision. You never know where he is at. He might be wondering about you too. Go for it and Good Luck

Just do it.

Worst case scenario. He doesn' want to talk, or doesn't remember you. If he doesn't remember you it'll give him a chance to see you in a whole new light. Its like getting a second chance at a first impression. How many of those do you REALLY get in life?

And if he doesn't want to talk, who cares? I mean he dissappeared once, he can do it again. Its like if you see a cute stranger, its like not like you'll ever see them again so why not say hey you're hot? And even if you do you left a hell of an impression, and probably made the day for their ego.

the point is you've got nothing to loose. Worse thing your pride hurts a little. Its not the end of the world if it doesn't turn into your dream date, sometimes people from the past take a little more time to come around too.

hey i had the same EXACT problem!!! cool.

Oh but anyways I think you should contact him maybe he feels the same way.

When I saw the dude i havn't spoken to since 7th grade( im going to ninth) I was really hesitant and I couldn't make up my mind to go and talk to him or not. Then my friend convinced me and even came with me to talk to him and we spoke and had a lot of fun!! I don't want to know what it would have been like if I would not have talked to him, I'm really glad I did.

Contact him dear, if you hear back you can decide between you if further correspondence is warranted, I speak from experience when I say it's better to take the chance then to live with the regret of not knowing. Megan

well since you have not mentioned your age it difficult to say.if you are in your twenty's then you should leave it.and move ahead give your self some time and make your self active in things that can help others.
if your a graduate student then call him for a cup to tea or so ask about his health and work,(if he is not hooked to someone else then ou can proceed.

there is a saying "Set the bird free, if ever it was yours it will be back",

There is nothing wrong getting in touch with an old contact. Call him and say hi. For all you know you may get the clue if he is interested to be friends with you again. If not then you have to forget him.

You didnt say if he knew how to contact you. send him an email or an e-card. just to test the waters. If you dont get an answer back then your questions will be answered.
