Lately Ive been having these dreams that im running away from something. I dont know what im running from, im just running away. 7 years ago i had leukemia, and went into remission. I still go back to the doctors to see if still doing fine, and Monday is my appointment. Am i running because im scared? Or is it that because im under so much stress because I'll be attending yale university this fall?

I think that the reason you are running is that you are afraid your leukemia is going to come back and prevent you from attending Yale University. You feel that your disease is chasing you down from the past, trying to overshadow and taint your future. What you seem to be running from is your own mortality. Obviously there was a psychological trauma in your past that you have not dealt with.

Being healed physically does not mean that you are healed psychologically and emotionally. It's very difficult when the thing chasing you down is in your own head. Your own memories are more haunting than any ghost could ever aspire to be, and you have nowhere to run to get away from yourself. Wherever you go, there you are. I think you're trying to run away, trying to de-haunt yourself of these memories and experiences. Perhaps it's time to see a counselor? You're not crazy; you just need an assist.

Overwhelming stress and fear of the future is a good theory to start from. It all depends on your dream environment in which you are running. If you feel fear, perhaps there is something in your life that youa re avoiding. Thjis is your spirit-guide's way of telling you that you have to deal with it soon. If there is a person chasing you... do you know them? what sensation do they impress upon you? Perhaps there is some interaction between yourself anfd them that is on the rocks.

Fear is looking to be the underlying theme.

Perhaps, deep down, you are afraid that the leukemia may somehow come back, and are afraid of what it could do to your current life situation if it does.

Good luck to you!

You are your best dream interpreter and you ask some things that indicate that you are able to figure the symbolism in this dream. Running away could be as simple as not wanting to face something unpleasant, or running away could indicate fear of a change in your life that you are dreading. And it could just be a dream. Good Luck

I think you have so much going on that maybe you dream of running away because you need to take it easy. It sounds like you have been through a lot, why don't you go on a nice trip with some friends or loved ones?

You are either running from a worrisome past or running towards a good future. The (running) implies, fear, uncertainty and the inability to decide.

Maybe you're not running from something, but toward something.
