Many 'Mainstream' religions call anything out of their usual rituals 'occult'. Some think reading your horoscope in the paper/magazine to be occult. The 'witch woman' of the village was actually the healer, someone who knew how to heal with herbs, poltices etc. Dancing naked under the dark of the moon came from a whole different scene...often with nothing to do with Wicca.
