Peanut butter. I know it sounds funny, but I have used peanut butter on anything with a sticky residue and if left on for a little bit, the oils will let you just wipe the residue away. I used it on my car which I got from someone who kept everything velcroed to the dashboard. It took the residue off and you would never tell anything was there!

Look for a product called Imperial Cleaner. It works great for removing adhesives.

Mineral Spirits,,,cheap, safe, extremely effective. I use it all the time...BTW,,, I love this quote." When something moves but shouldn't,,,use Duct tape. When something doesn't move, but should, use WD40." Rev. Steven 2003

Well, you can one of two things....if you want a solvent for it, use GooGone, you can get it at Walmart. Second, since it is a mirror, you can scrape it off with a razor blade without it harming the mirror.

Most adhesives can be removed with rubbing alcohol (isopropilic). You have to insist though if it's hardened.
