Try a search for custom aquariums in your area. They will be able to form and if necessary attach the piece of acrylic as you want. That kind of design is going to significantly alter the stress on your aquarium and I would worry about cracks. You may want the complete aquarium built from scratch to handle the stress. It may be more expensive to start with, but will give you the ability to design something extraordinary and still be cheaper in the long run.

Hummm good Idea.
the front glass could be made from plexie glass you will need two pumps so as to put the water back in the tank..0ho 0ho how about making a large cage in front of the tank land scape an all
giving them a play space with a kool water fall area, go for the green thing pipe in some jungle music a few rocks to sun on

Obviously the water will leak through. Fish tank dividers are made to separate different sides of tanks, they're made to share the water between the two sides. And besides, that won't be large enough for a hamster. Get him a proper cage.

i say build up rocks and put those floating land things. what my did was she ut a big slab of rock on one side and grew grass she has the same size tank as you it holds 2 gecosn a snake and 3 baby turtles. (turles are the best becuse some just float on logs more room for the fishies.) good luck OR ( she has too tanks one was her bro's)install a glass wall that goes from top to bottom one side dry one side wet it looks really cool but sh had turtles in that tank so she had 5 tiny holes water would drain and a pump that sucked it up when the water side got low (she also had a bridge going from one side to the other so the turtles could cros over)

Try going to a shop that does plexiglass work and see if they can cut and shape a piece for you in the size that you need. The piece could then be cemented in place with aquarium cement.
