I would say you should still wait - even widows have to wait four months and ten days.
Besides, if you're in love with someone - 4 months and 10 days will not hinder your future. :)

I looked on the internet and found a site that lists even if a woman is menopausel they should still wait the iddah period.Since menopausel women are beyond the childbaring age it might apply to you.
