does anyone believe in 13-15 year old girls getting pregnant?

Its a bit of a stupid thing to do so young as 13-15 year olds are still only children themselves and they are forced to grow up very quickly and wont be able to enjoy being a teenager... but some can cope with it and turn out to be great mothers so it just depends who they are, how mature they are, and how willing they are to dedicate their life to a baby.

Not all 13-15 year olds are "children". I know alot of them are but some are maturer and should be classified as Young Adults. That DOESNT justify going out and getting pregnant. I had a baby at 15. Yes I have a good job, i went through college, and no Im not on welfare. Yes I regret having sex early. You cant stop teens from having sex. And you shouldnt classify all teens as being children because some of them act way more mature than some adults. Thats just stereotyping.

I don't believe that they should be getting pregnant but as sad as it is it happens I think it should be a law that is mandatory that all 13 year old girls get on some type of birth control because these young ladies are not ready physically or emotionally to have children and besides they are children themselves what will they have to look forward to in life?

I know that it is possible for girls that age to get pregnant. It just depends on if their menstrual cycle has started yet. I think that someone that age has not yet fully experienced what life has to offer them without kids. You can basically kiss getting a college education goodbye that's for sure. Without that you probably won't land a job that pays more than minimum wage. Working for minimum wage sucks. You barely make enough to cover the rent on an apartment with 2 people having minimum wage jobs. So most likely you'll be living with your parents. Besides that, whatever's left of your money will be going to your kid for clothes, food, bottles, pacifiers, medical bills, daycare (because someone's going to have to be there when you're at work) toys, etc. So my point is......you'll be broke. Not only will you be punishing yourself, you'll be punishing your kid because you probably won't be able to afford all the things that they will need and definitely not the things that they want. It's hard enough getting out on your own when there are no kids involved.

You can't just be thinking about what you want right now. You have to think about your future. I personally think that most 18yr olds are not fit to be parents.

Uh I don`t think they should be getting pregnant but hey if you wanna go ahead because you will find out in the end it is NOT fun whatsoever. So think about it... do you want your life to be a living nightmare until after 18 years of age or do you want to suceed in life and make it alot more easier for such a young person as yourself. Now to be honest w/ you I am very young myself!So think before you do because my older sis got pregnant at 16.

The youngest consenting parents were 7 and 8, so a 13-15 year old who has had their period can get pregnant. Even if you haven't you have no way of telling WHEN you will, so don't think that means go for it.

well lets see when i was pregnant i started out being 15 then a month after i turned 16 i had a lil baby boy so...yes i do but not really 13 or 14 because it seems young but any thing is possible

I just read about a 10 year-old that is pregnant! I don't think little girls should even think about sex before they are ready to be married! They aren't strong enough to have the kid anyway. It makes me a little worried what will happen to those kids. Did they have bad parents? Were they just playing and confused?

i believe they an get pregnant yes. you can start your period at an early age. my mother started hers when she was 11 so yes 13 to 15 year olds can get pregnant...

if you are asking if they should get pregnant.. no they shouldn't. they haven't even matured nearly enough to be able to take care of that child.. let alone would they be able to get a job. in nevada you can get a job at the age of 16 no younger.. so if you are 14 and got pregnant how in the world would you take care and be able to support that baby? you wouldn't you'd have to run to your parents for help and that would be a finacial burden for them..

I dont believe in it but it happens so much...the thing is that every one always mentions the girls its the guys fault to but no one ever mentions them..you cant get pregnany on ur own....Girls today are gettin sexuly active everyday and there isnt much we can do about it...im 13 years old and im pressured everyday to have sex and i know its hard to say no but i do but not all girls do...
