yahoo instant messenger signs out all on its own says yhoo messenger caused error in unknown area reinstalled several times any ideas thanks

for me if im on too long without doing anything it signs me out for "Security Measures" it might just be that

It's hard to say because you are running a notoriously problematic version of Windows and Yahoo is always acting strangely. My last computer ran Windows ME and I had problems all the time with it.

yah upgrade to windows 2000 pro ME was a failure to microsoft no surprise there but it was supposed to come out as windows 2000 pro they were forced to make it so they didnt finsished see there was a quick explanaiton itsa bad os so it generates MANY errers MORE than Win2k and Xp put together thats how bad it is so if ur having probs with ME SWwitch cuz its the worst Os ever

I run WIN ME as well, and I have the same problem.
I think it's just a problem with the operating system, because my friends who run XP and 2000 have no problems.

try to reinstall yahoo messneger. or first uninstall messenger and again install it with new installation file. download new from yahoo messenger website for win me

I had loads of problems with ME. Gawd I hated that version, so I went out and bought XP upgrade.
Best thing I ever did.

I believe its because its a BETA version, which means Yahoo is still trying to work out all the bugs. It happens to me too.

Spend the money and upgrade to XP

you might have a bug do a scan on your pc yahoo had a worm and i dont know if they have it fixed yet
