How many people think playing on the computer uses up to much time "wasted time"? Is it a passer of time or a hobbie?

I use it to pass the time while my BF is at work. I mean, I do other productive things (like clean and look for a job and bake cookies), but when I run out of productive things to do I usually plant my butt in the computer chair until he gets home. And it is addicting! But I don't think it's really wasted time, because I usually learn some interesting tidbit while I'm surfing around aimlessly...

well..........if u r doing something useful then i don't think it'll b considered as a waste of time but if u r playing and all together fooling around then it is a waste of time!
Actually it can b considered as a hobbie and "time passes quickly when u'r having fun"
the computer is a mix of things.

It sometimes is wasted time for sure! Like tonight I am totally vegging with munchie food playin on the net, and I am not sweating it, its what i am choosing to do tonight because I can. If your losing sleep over it or missing work or outings, then something is definitly the matter.

Computers are a great resource for knowledge, and one who this it is a waste of time should be on their computer answering this question.

It's a hobby! A good hobby that increases your computer hacking skills, I should know, most games I play are ripped. :P

if u have no place in life, no ambition, no wutever, then its a hobbie. if ur sensible and smart (like me...hahah) its a total waste of time. wastes ur money, ur time and it makes u fat sitting on a chair all day. and i'll admit, it's really addicting too you know.
