it stops when you get old... MENOPAUSE.
It also stops for about 9 months when you get pregnant... and sometimes while breastfeeding your baby.
Pads or tampons. Depends on you and the activity. If your swimming or being active, tampons are much better. Just make sure you change it often.

It stops during/after menopause which is around fifty or so years old. Tampons have a chance of causing TSS but that is only if you leave them in too long and use a higher absorbency than you need. Pads are more messy and tend to leak more. The best thing is to use a combination of both. Some good brands are Kotex for pads and Tampax for tampons.

yes i thinks ur period stops at a certain age like around 40 or 50 years of age and i thinks pads are better because on the news this lady had to get her leg cut off because she used tampons and got an infection from them and the best brand to me is always.

Yes, it stops when you get older (like 40's or 50's or sometimes older than that). It's called "menopause" not metapause, though. :-) Pads are good to start out with, but tampons offer much better protection. I started when I was 10 and have had it for 14 years so I think I know what I'm talking about!

Yeah it stops when you get older, you go through a stage called menopause.I personally think always is the best brand, and that pads are better for you, it allows your body to release The lining, if you have a tampon on, it will hinder that from happening, which to me is not safe. Just try both to see which one you are the most comfortable with.

Thankfully it does stop someday!!! :) I have read many times that Toxic Shock Syndrome is more common in teens and early 20's so if you use tampons, make sure you change it every few hours, do not leave it in all night long. But tampons are much more comfortable than pads. I like slimfit Tampax Pearl, but make sure you use unscented, the scented ones can cause a yeast infection.

Don't worry!!!! It does stop!!!Thank goodness because Im only 13 and when I first got mine that was the FIRST thing on my mind! Well I personally beleive in pads because the process of tampons seems painful and a lil weird. Plus tampons have something in them that can cause infections. And just in case, I think wipes are the best when cleaning up!!!

Your period stops when you reach menopause. As for the decision between pad and tampons, I'll suggest you use pad because tampons break your hymen (the thin layer of flesh that usually gets broken when you lose your virginity or do extreme exercise).

It stops when you get old..i'm not sure what age tho.
When you get it for the first time, it 's good to start with pads. Once you're used to it, try tampons. I'm not sure what brands, but try the ones on TV.

It normally stops between the ages of 50 and 55. It really also depends on the situation because when your swimming I highly suggest tampons but to go to bed you might prefer pads. Its really up to you though.
