You need to know how air brakes work. You need to know how to figer up gross weight. If you have the book where they ask questions at the of the chapter is what your going to need to know. good luck.

I suggest you go by your local state highway patrol office and pick up the study guide for CDL testing! There's a lot to learn bur everything you need to know is in the study guide. Good luck

there are alot of questions on the cdl test,most are on air brake and driving conditions.

you have to know about placards and things like that, if you will be driving a truck that hauls hazardous materials. You can go to your local DMV, and get a study guide.

the study guide from the dmv has all the questions and answers in the book read it and you should pass no problem
