Hey, I am from Atlanta, don't tell me what perfection is. LOL.

Well, gosh, my tongue is bit to pieces! LOL. I was just wondering who you thought could pull it off, not suggesting a remake.

Aaack Save us from Miley Cyrus, however. AND Justin Bieber! LOL Funny thing- when I saw GWTW many years ago- I did NOT like male choices AT ALL for Ashley Wilkes- I thought- MY gosh, the man is a queer, too femmy. Yuck- what would Scarlett SEE in him? And Rhett Butler? OH man I thought Clark Gable gross and ugly. And I was a young girl when I saw that movie, I hated those two actor choices. LOL I think Natalie Portman would be a good Scarlett... I'd have to think long and hard for the male roles. Hhahahahaha I have to admit I think Johnny Depp would be an excellent Rhett Butler. He seems to be very chameleon like and fit into whatever roles he picks.

Yeah, Rachel McAdams for Scarlett, and someone ruggidly handsome for Rhett. Hmm, maybe that guy from Pride and Prejudice--Matthew MacFadyen??? James Franco? Jude Law? I'm thinking of big names, but maybe an "unknown actor" would be better to play the part of Rhett. Nothing can top the original though...! =)

As many people have said...don't fool with perfection. However, I think that George Clooney would have to play Rhett. When I saw O Brother, I thought he resembled Clark Gable quite a bit. As far as Scarlett, I just can't think of anyone who could pull it off.

Talent scouts would look the streets for the next Miss Star and agents would be phoning like crazy.....my choices are.....

Sam Elliot and Sandra Bullock......both have good talent and looks.....but you need someone to play the parts. Mr Elliot has played alot of cowboy roles but adds a great smile to the screen and the only drawback is Sandra would have to work on the nasal part when she speaks.I say her because playing Scarlett would involve alot of character.Imagine that; someone with character acting a lead role...lol....links below of Sam Elliot and Sandra Bullock

Hmmmmm. Well I do think George Clooney would be a great Rhett he is southern after all. Johnny Depp would be way too hot! Now for Scarlett......not Sandra Bullock she seems too goofy, not sure. but Jude Law would make a good Ashley

bite your tongue, I hope that they never remake my favorite movie, but if they did a film biography of Clark Gable's life, I'd love to see George Clooney play him.
