It really depends. Usually if a person on SSI gets married, they are financially worse off because of the marriage. Check with your local SSA office and go over your specific situation.

if the person thats not getting ssi is working then you could get more money but if the person is working u could lose part or all your ssi

you may get a reduction in the amount you recieve(depends upon your situation) --- check with your local Social Security Agency to know for sure...
