I don;t like these brands. The clothes are ridiculously simple, and you cannot have any kind of style in them. The only details that would make the clothing special, are either the logo, or "hollister" or "american eagle" printed on it. but I guess I am too influenced by fashion (which includes magazines, fashion shows) anyways,
anyways, i've been in these stores and i like american eagle better.the clothing at hollister doesn't have much variety. standard camisoles with the logo on it, and a little embelishment or eyelet is the best they can do.
on the other hand, american eagle also has these simple pieces, but i noticed they make more effort to make other pieces that differ from standard tank tops or camisoles..

Do a web search for a map of Hollister, California.
It is an armpit of a town. It is famous for a motorcycle riot in the the 1950's. It smells like a barn.
Why would anyone want to wear a shirt or anything else that says "Hollister California" on it? It is a joke on everyone in the US who buys stuff from that store.

I like hollister's clothes because they are more stylish then American Eagle. Also AE is a little too preppy for me.

I prefer AE. But then, I thought Hollister was more in competition with Abercrombie, not American Eage. I didn't like what I saw in the hollister store when I first visited it though.

american eagle all the way....but hollister seems to have more clothes than american eagle but i still like american eagle better.

American Eagle. And despite what people say, Hollister is not one bit preppy. It is Californian, laid back beachy style. Preppy is J. Crew, Lilly Pulizter, Brooks Brothers, Lacoste, etc...

I would have to say American Eagle. That is one of my favorite stores. Hollister's clothes are bland and really expensive. AE is still a lil pricey but they have awsome sales and gosh at least they put a little color into their clothes. absolutely luv AE!!!!!!!!!

hollister for beachy wair more for summer and spring and i wair american eagle in the winter because its definatly ment more for winter then hollister
